The 2nd single from the Acid House Kings upcoming album, ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ (due out 3/22), has been leaked. The title is ‘Would You Stay Stop?’ and was chosen by a fan vote earlier this month. This track features the sugar sweet vocals of Julia Lannerheim and a catchy pop hook. Would you expect any less from the album that claims will not redefine pop music, but define it? LISTEN above or DOWNLOAD below.

The Sundays – Here’s Where The Story Ends
Thursday, February 10th, 2011The Sundays were an influential British indie group that first came on the scene in 1990. Harriet Wheeler and guitarist David Gavurin formed the band in college at bristol, soon adding bassist Paul Brindley and drummer Patrick Hannan. Their level of commercial success was almost unprecedented by an indie act when their first album ‘Reading Writing and Arithmetic’ debuted in the British charts at number 4, (even cracking the US Top 40) with little publicity. This now seminal album also featured the single ‘Here’s Where The Story Ends’ and other classic indie pop tunes ‘Skin & Bones’, ‘Hideous Towns’ and ‘I Kicked A Boy’. After releasing two more follow-ups the band decided to go into hiatus to dedicate their time to family. Here’s hoping that it won’t be the last we hear from them!

Acid House Kings – Music Sounds Better With You
Wednesday, February 9th, 2011
Yesterday the Acid House Kings released the cover to their upcoming album, ‘Music Sounds Better With You’, set for release on March 22nd. They also released their first single to the masses a while back, ‘Are We Lovers Or Are We Friends?’. For those of us who adored their last album, ‘Sing Along With Acid House Kings’, this is definitely one of the most anticipated releases of the year, as it promises to pick up where the last one left off. If the single and samples are any indication, ‘Music Sounds Better With You’ promises to be a warm, friendly, hook-filled, Swedish pop delight!
If you haven’t had the chance yet, be sure to download the single from Labrador Records!
